Welcome to Ulgham Parish Council Nestled in the Northumberland countryside, Ulgham (“uffham”, meaning “village of the owls”) is a small, welcoming village of around 150 households. Located near Morpeth and within easy reach of Newcastle upon Tyne, it combines the tranquillity of rural life with excellent access to the wider area. The village is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, historic landmarks and the unspoiled Northumberland coast — making Ulgham a wonderful place to live, visit and enjoy.
